Helen’s next quirky quiz night is on Friday 13th July at the Windsor Arms, Barnstaple. The quiz starts at 8pm so get there from 7.30 pm to register. All profits from the quiz night will go to Emmanuel Stepping Stones, a North Devon charity who’s aims are to help build a nursery school in the Gambia.
Three intrepid walkers hiked 20+ miles last year on the first JCF sponsored walk along the Tarka Trail in North Devon and it’s going to happen all over again on Sunday19th Augustfor the JCF or a charity of YOUR choice. The walk will start from the Puffing Billy, Torrington and pass through Bideford, Instow, Fremington and Barnstaple and will finish at the visitors centre in Braunton. The whole walk is approximately 20 miles but if you only want to do part of the walk we can accomodate this too. We will register you at your starting point, check on you along the way then meet you at the finish to certify that you have walked the walk!!! All…
