The aim of organising the firewalk was to raise funds for Age Concern Barnstaple £ District but walkers were also invited to take part for the charity or cause of their choice. As a result of the firewalk over 5,000 was raised for good causes and they include the following:

Hillside Animal Sanctuary – 66.44

Northam Lodge – 1,000.00
North Devon Hospice – 599.70
Stroke Association – 139.00
The Voice FM – 329.00
West Down Community Stores – 170.00
Sponsorship for Age Concern totalled 1,179.20. Entry fees taken on the gate on the night of the walk came to 272.00 which the Big Sheep have very kindly donated to the cause.
Along with the above and money received during the year, JCF was pleased to be able to hand over a cheque to Rose Marshall and Andrea Scott from Age Concern Barnstaple £ District for the sum of 1,750.00.
