End of year Dogs Helping Kids donation (2013/14)

On Friday 23rd May 2014 Jaden and Cathy were pleased to visit the Dogs Helping Kids HQ to present Tracey with a cheque for 1,400.00. The money was raised by the JCF volunteersover the previous 12 months byholding a car boot sale, quiz nights, asponsored walk along the Tarka Trail and a charity firewalk.

Tarka Trail Sponsored Hike – Sunday 27th July 2014

Our sponsored walk will begin at the Puffing Billy, Torrington and endat the visitors centre in Braunton.

The whole walk isabout 22 miles. The stopping or meeting up points will be at Bideford, Instow (lunch), Fremington (afternoon tea or ice cream), apause around the Barnstaple Rugby Club area (and time permitting at the Braunton Inn) finishing at the Visitors Centre at Braunton.

Thestart time at the Puffing Billy will be 9.00am (be there at 8.30-8.45 to register) and making good time should get to Braunton around 6.30 7.00pm.

We would appreciate your support bywalking forourDevon causesthe Exeter Leukaemia Fundand/or K9 Focus Dog Rescueor our London causes the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Services and/or Children in Distress, but if you would prefer to walk for the charity of your choice you can do so.

Subject to the 10.00 registration fee, 100% of what you raise will go to your charity choice.

New roles for London volunteers

As from May 2014 Jaden and the team are pleased to announce that Julia Romp has agreed to take on the role of London manager/co-ordinator and Helen Gill has agreed to take on the role of secretary.

Both ladies are looking forward to working alongside the Devon team and also looking forward to the challenges ahead!

Jaden at the Queensmere Observatory 31st May & 1st June 2014

altJaden Cornelious will be accompanied by the lovely Sara B at the Queensmere Observatory, Sloughon Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June between 1.00pm – 4.30pmwhere they will be busking and raising funds for the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service(Berkshire)andChildren in Distress.

Not only will Jaden and Sara be singing but they willalso joined by the fabulous Mickey Mouse and Princess Sophia on Saturday and then on Sunday Buzz Lightyear and Woody will be popping by!!!

The fun doesn’t end there ………….. there will be Zumba and Salsa-ing going on as well ……… didn’t know Mickey couldZumba!!

If you’re in the area please go along and toss a few coinsor notes in the collection buckets – 100% of what isdonated will go to charity.
