**** DATE POSTPONEDDUE TO THE WEATHER- NEW DATE TO FOLLOW****

poster 26.10.13The Barking Mad Charity Family Dog Show is taking place at the Braunton Recreation Ground, Braunton, North Devon on Saturday 26th of October with the help from the guys at K9 Focus – a dog rescue centre based in North Devon. All profits from the day will be divided between Dogs Helping Kids and The Voice FM CIC a not for profit community radion station (a Community Interest Company).

Registration is from 11.30am and the first class will start at 12 noon.

Although there are the usual dog show classes, JCF wanted to do a dog show that is a little bit different so we have included classes such as Doggy Fancy Dress, Kids Doggy look-a-like Fancy Dress with face painters on site to lend a helping hand. Not only will there be the usual dog agility class but we thought we would do a fun kids team agility class as well – 3 in a team up to the age of 12 years!!

The Dogs Trust are offering free micro-chipping on the day.

The lead sponsors for the day so far are Nature’s Way, Andy Casey Photography and Alan Schofield Photography plus many others.

JCF supporting Alexander Divine CHS & Children In Distress

Further tothe Augustmeeting of JCF London, the volunteers agreed they would raise funds for the year 2013/14 and 2014/15to help Alexander Divine Children’s Hospice Serviceand Children in Distress. Fundraising will continue until the end of April 2014 with financial distributions being made in May 2015.

Jaden says “having to deal with the “there’s not much more we can do” must be unbearable, but when it is your child I cannot think of thalexander devine hospicee devastation this must cause. My heart really goes to those all over the world that face this every day. I have recently become involved with ADCHS who supply end of life care for lots of families in my local area. There is a shortage of end of life nurses and carers and with the nearest children’s hospice being 60 miles away I would like to support ADCHS with their desire to build a state of the art children’s hospice in Berkshire.”

London JCF’s second charity is Children in Distress in Romania. Jaden has had a close connection with CID since being introduced to them by children in distressclassical crossover singer Jennifer Crestol. Since meeting Jennifer, JCF has despatched toys, children’s clothing and medical supplies. Jaden has also taken part in a few charity fundraising musical events when visiting Bucharest. While visiting Romania he also made a point of spending time with the CID children in care. His last visit was just before Christmas 2012 – you can see the short video he made by clicking HERE
